We are delighted to announce that having been shortlisted as finalists for three categories at this year’s prestigious National FDF (Food & Drink Federation) Awards, Proper Cornish has won the award for Business Resilience.

We were shortlisted along with some very strong competition and we impressed the judges with our entry which focused on our proactive approach to the nationwide recruitment and retention crisis following Brexit and the height of the COVID pandemic and the fantastic work that we have been doing within our business.

The two categories that we were shortlisted as finalists for but did not win were HR Initiative and Community Partner.  Despite not winning these categories, it was great to be shortlisted against high profile players in the industry.

The FDF Awards are the ones to win for our sector, recognising and rewarding excellence for innovation, competitiveness and talent in the food and drink industry.  We joined companies from across the food and drink supply chain to celebrate the winners at the FDF Awards ceremony on Thursday 21st September in London and had a fantastic evening.

We really are delighted to have won such a prestigious award and winning this award is testament to the commitment and hard work of everyone here at Proper Cornish.
